Polycarbonate - Rod
Polycarbonate rod, manufactured to machine grade specifications, is a semi-transparent, extremely impact-resistant, electrically excellent thermoplastic. Its low moisture absorption rate and excellent chemical resistance make it an excellent material for engineering applications. Polycarbonate is also a retail display such as POP displays, table top signs, transparent protective glass Polycarbonate is a popular material for PPE material, it’s impact resistance makes it perfect for face shields and machine guard components to protect individuals from flying debris. Polycarbonate offers very high impact strength, high modulus of elasticity and a 270ºF (132ºC) heat deflection temperature at 264 psi.
