PPE Plastic For Aircraft Interiors

Tecanyl VH2 black is a specially formulated PPE plastic (Polyphenylene ether) designed for use in commercial aircraft interiors. It has been tested to and passed the requirements for FAR 25.853, as well as specific customer specifications for interior cabin products. The material's favorable flame and smoke generation characteristics make it suitable for applications in aircraft interior spaces such as the galley, bathrooms, and interior cabin space, and even in the flight deck itself. Tecanyl VH2 black is an ideal choice for those looking for a safe and reliable PPE plastic for their aircraft interior needs.

      • Chemical attack from water, most salt solutions, acids and bases is also minimal with TECANYL™ VH2.
      • Has a non-halogenated flame retardant system brining V0 performance with a lower smoke output than TECANYL™ VH1
      • Exhibits low smoke performance meeting many industry standards for flame and smoke testing
      • Improved product based on Sabic IP Noryl™ black resin. Due to its inherent chemical composition, TECANYL™ VH2, exhibits unusually low moisture absorption. Therefore, good electrical insulating properties are realized over a wide range of humidity and temperature conditions.
