Polypropylene offers a good balance of thermal, chemical and electrical properties with moderate strength. Polypropylene sheet offers good impact resistance, considerable thermal resistance, and excellent chemical resistance.

Polypropylene plastic sheets are the choice plastic for containers due to its easy manufacturability, impact resistance, and low cost. Additionally, polypropylene plastic is frequently used in semiconductor and chemical industries due to its superior durability in corrosive environments. It cannot be cemented but is easily welded with a plastic welder. Polypropylene is not UV stabilized but is USDA approved and meets FDA standards
