Phenolic sheet is an electrical grade high strength composite that consists of weighted layers of cotton, paper, glass or fabric. These materials are placed under heat and pressure and filled with synthetic resin. This creates a durable and tough material that is also lightweight. Phenolic sheet is used for a wide variety of industrial application including insulators for ectromechanical devices, jigs, gears, and fixtures. The insulating properties of phenolic make it an ideal for manufacturing when lightweight and impact resistance are important.
