Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Rods (ABS)
ABS material occupies the unique position of being a bridge between the general industrial and other higher performance engineering thermoplastics. Its performance is characterized by toughness and impact strength even at low temperatures, good stiffness and machinability. ABS is an excellent choice when durability and impact resistance is required. ABS is offered in standard sheet stock and rod. General purpose grades are mostly used for interior applications and may work for some outdoor applications. Exposure to outdoor elements may cause changes in the impact strength, hardness, and surface gloss.
